Cookie policy
This page lists every cookie and piece of browser storage Tokoo uses, and why.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Browser storage (“local storage”) works the same way but is not sent to the server with every request. We use both, only for the purposes below. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not let advertisers track you on Tokoo.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
These make the service work and keep your account secure. They cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in, and they are set only when you use the feature they serve.

3. Analytics cookies
When analytics are enabled, we use Google Analytics to understand how the service is used. It tells us which pages are viewed and which searches are run, not who you are; we do not send it your name, your email address or any contact you reveal.

You can block these cookies in your browser, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on. The service works the same without them.
4. Preferences in your browser
These remember choices you make on the page and keep your support chat. They stay in your browser. Only the chat entries are ever used to reach us, to reopen your conversation.

5. Controlling cookies
Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies and site storage, usually under Settings, then Privacy. If you block the strictly necessary cookies you will not be able to sign in. Deleting the preferences simply resets them.
